Quooker taps are a very convenient way to always have boiling water on demand. They contain a small tank that stores water at boiling temperatures. That creates an obvious problem in hard water areas – scaling.

Low Temperature & Water Pressure Problems

Another common Quooker tap problem is that the water temperature drops suddenly or the flow of water slows to a trickle. This again, is usually caused by a build-up of limescale in the heating element. descaling the heating element will usually fix the problem. In most cases this again will be a job for a professional plumber as disassembling the heating element and isolating water/power can be quite difficult.
